New staff - David Lappano and Janet Ross

New staff – David Lappano and Janet Ross

It’s a new year, and the Centre for Christian Studies has new staff.
Janet Ross comes to us from Emmanuel College and McMaster University in Toronto, and David Lappano has recently finished his PhD at Oxford in England. They will be joining Ann Naylor and principal Maylanne Maybee as the CCS Program Staff.

Help us welcome David and Janet, and say hi to the rest of the CCS staff. If you’ve never been to CCS, come find out what we’re all about.

Come say Hi.

Come say Hi.

Hi. How does one become involved in the training necessary for entrance into the ministry?
    Maureen, Winnipeg

    • CCS says:

Hi Maureen. You and I had some email conversation over the holidays. If you’re available on the 16th I’d suggest you drop by the open house and chat with some folks. Or you can give me a call.
The first piece of the CCS diaconal ministry training program is our leadership development module called “Learning On Purpose”, being offered in June in Toronto and August in Winnipeg.
If you’re Anglican or United, I’d suggest you contact the Diocese of Rupert’s Land or the Conference of Manitoba & Northwestern Ontario about the process of discernment and qualification for ministry.
      Scott
