Highlights from “Diversity, Transformation, and Hope”

On October 11, CCS was thrilled to host a dialogue between Raheel Raza and Stan McKay on the themes of diversity, transformation, and hope.  Here are some snippets of their conversation:

Read Raheel’s blog post reflecting on the event, including some lovely quotations from Rumi.

What is praised is one, so the praise is one too,
many jugs being poured into a huge basin.
All religions, all this singing, one song.
The differences are just illusion and vanity.
Sunlight looks a little different on this wall
than it does on that wall
and a lot different on this other one,
but it is still one light.

a new student who is feeling
overwhelmed and uncertain.
