Learning on Purpose coming to Five Oaks
The Centre for Christian Studies’ transformative two-week Learning on Purpose leadership development course is coming to the Five Oaks Retreat Centre in Paris, ON, June 15-26, 2026.
Whether you are discerning a call to ministry, starting a program of diaconal formation, building your skills for lay leadership, connecting your community engagement and your faith, or just trying to figure out what your purpose is, Learning on Purpose is for you.
Tuition is $1900. (Accommodations at Five Oaks are available for people who want to stay on-site. Contact CCS for rates.) The deadline to apply is May 1.
How you can help:
- Spread the word. Download the poster below and send it to people or put it up in your community. Talk it up on social media.
- Consider applying yourself. For discernment? For con. ed?
- Tap a shoulder. Think of the people you know with leadership potential and gifts to share. Tell them, “You should do this!”
- Sponsor someone. If there are leaders or potential leaders in your congregation or organization, invest in them. The new ideas and skills they return with will benefit your community.
