Come Celebrate with Us – 2025

Join us on Saturday, March 29 for a day of celebration as we mark the graduation of five students from the Diaconal Ministries program and honour this year’s Companion of the Centre, Ann Naylor.

This year’s graduates will be

  • Letitia Berger from Port Coquitlam, BC
  • Lisa Byer-de Wever from Pierrefonds, QC
  • Lynda Brind Dickson from Surrey, BC
  • Lisa Leffler from Guelph, ON
  • and Hyerim Park from Winnipeg, MB

Things kick off at 3:00pm with the Annual Service of Celebration at St George’s Anglican Church in Crescentwood (168 Wilton St). This celebratory worship/graduation service is free and open to anyone who wants to come. The service will also be livestreamed so those not in the Winnipeg area can take part.

Keep the party going with the CCS banquet at 6:00pm (also at St George’s Anglican). A catered meal and a chance to connect with the CCS community and the friends and families of our graduates and Companion. Tickets are $60 ($30 for CCS students, $15 for children under 12). Contact Cheryl at office@ccsonline.ca before March 12 to book your tickets.

If you can’t make the Annual Service or the Banquet, but would like to congratulate Letitia, Lisa, Lynda, Lisa, Hyerim, or Ann, please leave a comment below.

I would like to add my congratulations to Ann Naylor being honoured as this year’s Companion of the Centre. Ann you have a beautiful gift that just flows so naturally from you and that is your inner peace. I have been a privileged recipient of your leadership gifts when I attended the Leadership Development course there. Thank you for all you give and have given with love and compassion. We are all enriched by your gracious spirit.
