And so at every Truth and Reconciliation event, they hold a birthday party and make sure there are enough cupcakes for every person there.
It is with a mix of personal regret but warm wishes and much gratitude for her contribution to CCS, that we announce the retirement of Liz Bachmann, effective November 23, 2013.

The CCS Archives Working Group is looking for volunteers to 1) put together a display on CCS’s Anglican heritage, and/or 2) work with the historic deaconess uniform.
“Development Lunches,” part of every Learning Circle a few years ago, are starting up again after a hiatus.

Lori Stewart is well-known to many in the CCS community. Last month she stepped into a new role: Development Coordinator for the Centre.
On May 15, 2013, CCS graduate and volunteer, Marion Pardy received an Eleos Award from the Canadian Council of Churches for her commitment to ecumenism and justice.
Second Fridays is back! CCS’s monthly noon-hour presentation and discussion series returns, with a focus on Faith and the Arts this fall.
On August 12, nine students – from Newfoundland to Vancouver—began the 2013 Ottawa Leadership Development Module (LDM) as strangers. A week later, they have bonded as a community of colleagues and friends.
