CCS Prayer Cycle
We invite you to include the Centre for Christian Studies community in your corporate and individual prayers. This cycle offers a monthly schedule of the students, volunteers, staff and alumni that can be used for intercessions and thanksgiving either throughout the month or on a date close to the 26th (which corresponds with the World DIAKONIA prayer cycle).
January – Donors and friends of CCS and those who support the Centre for Christian Studies
February – Alumni of CCS (including Anglican Women’s Training College, United Church Training School, Covenant College, and Western Field Based Program)
March – Central Council and its committees and working groups that support the work of CCS
April – Companions of the Centre and this year’s CCS graduates
May – Staff of CCS (including Principal, Program Staff, and Administrative Staff)
June – Continuing Studies students and Learning on Purpose students
July – Other theological schools and students taking External Academic Courses
August – Affiliated denominations (United Church of Canada, Anglican Church of Canada)
September – Students in their final Integrating Year
October – Students in Praxis and learning circles this year
November – Students in field placements and field volunteers (learning facilitators and local committees)
December – Diaconal mentors
