A five-session course of formation for diaconal service in the Anglican tradition. Word & Example is currently running on the first Saturday of the month from November to March.

Learning on Purpose
Our two-week leadership development course is a terrific primer for anyone thinking about more intentional leadership in the church and the world, regardless of denomination. The course has been taken as a kind of discernment by those considering a call to ministry, as continuing education by those in active ministry, and as an enrichment course by those who want to offer faith-filled leadership outside of the church. Diploma in Diaconal Ministry
The United Church of Canada recognizes the CCS diploma program as a requirement for diaconal ministry in the UCC. Bishops in the Anglican Church of Canada also recognize the CCS program as part of a solid educational foundation for ordination.
