Call for Companion Nominations

Who is your Diaconal Hero? Who represents the values of justice, compassion, and transformation for you? Each year the Centre for Christian Studies names someone as a Companion of the Centre. It’s a way of recognizing and celebrating people in our midst who have made significant contributions to CCS or to the diaconal community or to the church or to the world, people who embody the spirit and values of the Centre. Past recipients of the award have been ministers, educators, change-makers, organizers, caregivers, artists. They inspire us. They gift us with their wisdom. They are our honoured elders (even though they aren’t all old).

The CCS Awards Committee is requesting nominations for the 2027 Companion of the Centre Award. Who would you like to see recognized? Put together a nomination using the Companion Nomination Form. (If you have any questions, or just want to let us know you’re working on a nomination, contact Scott Douglas at sdouglas@ccsonline.ca )
