Fostering Theological Leadership
The United Church of Canada Foundation is hosting an online event on Thursday, February 15th, at 12:00 PM EST / 9:00 AM PST called “Fostering Theological Leadership in the Post-Pandemic World: A Conversation with Two Asian-Descent UCC Principals.” The guests are CCS’s Principal, Rev. Dr. Alan Lai, and the Principal of Emmanuel College, Rev. Dr. Hyeran Kim-Cragg, along with Rev. Dr. Jennifer Janzen-Ball, Executive Minister for Theological Leadership for the United Church.
This one-hour virtual panel discussion will highlight the importance of supporting theological education, the opportunities and challenges of guiding theological schools through and beyond the Covid-19 pandemic, and the vital role played by scholars and educators in fostering faith-seeking understanding.
