Principal Search Deadline Updated
The Principal Search Committee has received some wonderful applications so far, but they would like to expand their pool of candidates a bit and give interested people a bit more time to apply.
The original deadline was May 27 (tomorrow). The committee is extending the deadline to Sunday, June 12. Their plan is to interview shortlisted candidates later in June.
The main responsibilities of the Principal are to provide cohesive leadership to a diverse staff team in the cooperative style of the Centre. The responsibilities of the principal include maintaining the relevance and viability of the school in the twenty-first century, sustaining existing institutional partnerships and developing relationships with communities and institutions in education and social justice circles that CCS has previously not developed. The principal must show commitment to the reconciliation, the LGBTQIA+ affirming, and anti-racist work of the sponsoring denominations – The United Church of Canada and The Anglican Church of Canada.
