The Central Council of the Centre for Christian Studies announces that HyeRan Kim-Cragg, the Lydia Gruchy Professor of Pastoral Theology at St. Andrew’s College, in Saskatoon, has been named as the recipient of the $10,000 Kaufman Scholarship. Former CCS principal Maylanne Maybee has stepped out of retirement into the role of acting principal at the United Theological College in Montreal, for a three-year term. Maylanne served as principal of CCS from August 2011 to August 2017 when she retired and Michelle Owens took over the role.
Program Staff member David Lappano will be leaving CCS this summer to pursue ordination in the Church of England.
The UCTS (United Church Training School) class of 1962 celebrated the 50th anniversary of their graduation in June in Toronto.
