2013 Commissioning

The 2013 CCS grads!

We have six students slated for commissioning as Diaconal Ministers in the United Church of Canada this year.  As we move into Conference Annual Meeting season, we congratulate our grads as they are recognized by the church.

• On May 25th Alice Watson and Beth Walker will be commissioned by BC Conference at their Service of Celebration, held at Queens Avenue United in New Westminster, BC.
• Also on May 25th, Arlene Ruggles will be commissioned by London Conference at their Celebration of Ministry service, held at the Metropolitan United Church in London, ON.
• On June 1st, Marcie Gibson and Janet Nield will be commissioned by Montreal and Ottawa Conference at their Celebration of Ministry service, held at John Abbot College in Montreal, QC.
• On June 2nd, Kimberly Roy will be commissioned by Alberta and Northwest Conference at their Celebration of Ministry service, held at Gaetz Memorial United in Red Deer, AB.
• Addition: On May 25th, Mary Elliott (CCS grad 2011) will be commissioned by Hamilton Conference at their Celebration of Ministry service in Port Elgin, Ontario.
