Fall Social Ministry Learning Circle
Amidst all the hubbub of the anniversary celebration, the students in the Social Ministry learning circle have been meeting and working and learning. We have four new students joining the learning circle this year. So far they’ve been exploring social analysis, marginalization, history of mission, and the reign of God. On Tuesday they made a trip to learn more about the work of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. This week they are preparing student-led sessions on poverty, refugees, restorative justice, empire, racism, and peacemaking.
