At today’s Annual Service of Celebration 2014 graduates of the CCS Diploma in Diaconal Ministries program reflected on Persistent Hope, and the 2014 Companions of the Centre, Lynda Gow and Eric Tusz-King, were honoured.
“I experienced the time spent there – in sacred quiet, in worship and in community – to be nurturing; physically, emotionally, and spiritually.” Gail Clarkson reflects on the Epiphany Images of Diakonia event.
The Centre for Christian Studies is a national theological school grounded in the tradition of diakonia. We prepare people for ministries in the United Church of Canada and the Anglican Church of Canada, and offer lifelong learning for anyone who wants to deepen their faith-in-action.
The CCS offices are situated, with gratitude, humility, and respect, on Treaty One land, the traditional territory of Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation.
