Staffing Changes 2025

A new staffing configuration was approved by Central Council in December, which will take effect in the summer of 2025.

The model combines the functions of Development and fundraising (currently being performed by Interim Development Coordinator Gwen McAllister) and the Principal role (currently being performed by Interim Principal Marcie Gibson) into one full-time position. The Office Administrator position (currently being performed by Cheryl Thiessen) will become an Administration and Finances position including more financial oversight, database management, and other administrative functions. Marcie intends to return to her role as part-time Program Staff once her term as Interim Principal is complete. Program Coordinator Scott Douglas will move from part-time to full-time with additional responsibilities in marketing, recruitment, and communication. Janet Ross and Alcris Limongi will continue as full-time Program Staff. 

…So for those of you following along at home, the anticipated staff complement will be 5 full-time and one part-time staff positions: 1 Development-Principal, 1 Administration-Finance, 1 Program Coordinator-Recruitment-Communications, 2.5 Program staff.

With Cheryl retiring this summer and Marcie and Gwen finishing out interim terms, the search for two new staff people will soon begin. Start thinking about whether you know someone – including yourself – who would be a good Development-Principal person or Administration-Finances person for CCS.     I think this is a wonderful change to meet the new challenges. CCS has the capability to do new and powerful training for a world awash with change.
