VIDEO – CCS Friday: Holding a Virtual AGM
On Friday, February 12, 2021 the Centre for Christian Studies hosted an online workshop on Annual Meetings, with tips and advice for churches who are trying to figure out how to do their AGM online. It included discussion of voting, quorum, attendance, polity, etc.
The introduction to the session was a “What Not To Do” skit in which the CCS staff improvised some common hazards that people run into when meeting online.

Thank you for both your skit and your video presentation. The ideas are helpful. I’m learning in the role of tech support with lots left to learn. We were in a large meeting last week where three different curious people tapped screen share and didn’t know how to get out of it. The co-host turned off the option for those who didn’t need it.
Our annual meeting is Sunday. We’ve worshipped on line and met by Zoom for almost a year so we expect some people are by now comfortable using Zoom but some will need help.
