Launching a Presence at Epiphany Explorations
In a move to advance the Centre for Christian Studies’ profile and promote our programs more widely, we have put together a display for the Epiphany Explorations event in Victoria this weekend. Many graduates and friends have attended Epiphany Explorations over the years; in fact, Megumi Matsuo-Saunders (grad 1975) has had a significant role in this initiative of First Metropolitan United Church in Victoria B.C.
It’s just a display, right? What’s the big deal? Well, beside the planning, creative design, and strategizing about how to get people to visit our table, we had to arrange to get the materials to Victoria, assemble willing volunteers to staff the table, and communicate all the details. But now everything is in place for a CCS presence.
If you are planning to be at Epiphany Explorations stop by our table for news of Leadership Development Modules (LDMs) planned for 2014 and 2015. Look for someone you know on our display board. And in CCS tradition, pick up some crayons and start colouring outside the lines! Maybe we’ll see you in Victoria.
