CCS Fridays

Every month we offer a free online one-hour guest presentation and discussion about a topic that interests us, and maybe you too. A quick and easy way to spark some thoughts. Watch the CCS website for information about upcoming CCS Fridays (or for videos from past ones).

Personal Finances for Clergy Workshop

We’ve invited Glenn Morison to offer a free two-part workshop on money matters for clergy, Feb 24 and May 5. These workshops will be especially beneficial to ministry students and new ministers, but are useful for people in any stage of ministry. More info…

Humor, Laughter, Foolishness: Performing Love, Resilience and Resistance

The Centre for Christian Studies is excited to be offering a 2-day continuing education event with renowned theologian, liturgist, and artist Cláudio Carvalhaes! It will be a practical-theoretical way of engaging humor, laughter and foolishness through play in worship and preaching forms. Friday, April 14 and Saturday, April 15. Join us for this week-long exploration of the relationship between Indigenous and Settler peoples in Canada, wrestling with the implications of mission and engaging the depth of Indigenous ways of knowing and faith.
