November CCS Friday – Unanswered Questions about 9/11

Join us on Friday, November 5, for an online discussion of “Unanswered Questions“, Ray McGinnis’ recent book (and accompanying study guide for churches) about the families of those killed in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre on Sept. 11, 2001, and their attempts to get answers from their government. Our special guest will be author (and CCS grad) Ray McGinnis.

CCS Fridays:

Online conversations to help us all to respond faithfully to emerging issues in local contexts.  These workshops are open to anyone who might be interested. Each session will be on a Friday from 12:00 to 1:00 Central (Winnipeg time) and in the form of a Zoom workshop.  There will be a presentation that will be recorded for future viewing, plus opportunities to engage with the ideas in small groups.

Sessions are free but you must register.

UPDATE: Ray has released a study guide for congregations and study groups to accompany his book. You can download it here – STUDY GUIDE

I spent several hours as soon as Amazon delivered my copy. Difficult to put down as each question leads to another. Frustration with red tape and government blurring the lines of honesty for victims, leads to anger. This is the sort of thing that leads to conspiracy theories.
